Do you remember the Halloween Blizzard of 1991? These photos, taken by Linda Baumeister for Lillie Newspapers, show the Hill-Murray High School sign advertising “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” buried in snow, a Twins-themed Jack-o-lantern, and Mike Alfieri and his friends Joe, Matt Tobritzhofer, and Joe Johnson playing in the snow at the Alfieri home in Maplewood. Big Red Barn Folk Arts Fair – Sat, Oct 14, 2023, 10 am – 3 pm
***PARKING AND SHUTTLE INFO BELOW*** For 6 seasons, the MAHS Big Red Barn Folk Arts Fair has been the area’s largest folk arts gathering from MN and WI with over 100 booths. Welcoming over 2500 attendees per event, this wildly popular event is a fundraiser, supporting the preservation of the Maplewood Area Historical Society's 12 historic structures dating back to 1891. New this year, a FREE Bouncy House will be available for children! The Big Red Barn Folk Arts & Craft Fair will be held 10 AM - 3 PM on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Maplewood Area Historical Society - Bruentrup
