The Maplewood Area Historical Society is proud to present another season of one-of-a-kind hands-on and experiential day-camps for youth ages 6 – 16 at the beautiful 1891 Bruentrup Heritage Farm in Maplewood, MN as well as the quaint 1888 Eder Schoolhouse in Oakdale, MN. Nestled among 25 acres of restored rolling prairie, the Bruentrup Heritage Farm offers a unique setting for youth to explore many facets of our local history with professional historians, artists, culinary-experts, and architects!

MEA Break Camps
Calling all 1st to 6th graders! Are you ready for an unforgettable adventure? Join us at the Maplewood Area Historical Society’s Bruentrup Heritage Farm for our exciting “1912 Time Machine” Day Camp and Recess Camp during MEA Break! At Time Machine Camp, you'll enjoy traditional games and crafts that will transport you back in time, discover what fun looked like in 1912, and engage in hands-on activities that bring history to life. At Recess Camp, you'll join us on the farm for a full day of recess including lawn games, capture the flag, group games, and more fun on the farm! Grades 1-6. Camps are $80 for one day, or $150 for both days.
